How do I complain about a Life Insurance Company?
- To make a complaint to a Life Insurance Company you should write to their Compliance
Director.
You’ll find full details of how to complain within the Booklet issued by the
Insurance Company when you applied for your policy.
The Insurance Company will examine your complaint and reply to you in writing telling
you about the results of their investigations.
If you are unhappy with their reply and you lost out financially, you can write to
the Financial Ombudsman Service. They will carry out a separate independent investigation.
The results of this and their recommendations, including any level of compensation,
are usually binding on both you and the Insurance Company.
